your baby looks like a ladybug. maybe that means you're having a girl.
can you please clarify what the doctor told you about this picture? is it's head up? so the ladybug part that i'm seeing is it's body?

hahah! it really does look alien-ish. in this picture, the head is on the top and the torso is under the head. you can see eyes and a mouth, stomach, heart and spine.
oh no! i misspelled it! i generally spell it:
HER-MANphadite (okay, phrodite) because it has a "her" and a "man".

is this a word you have to spell often? before yesterday, in response to your horrible statement, i am pretty sure i never had occassion to type it.
(disclaimer: i am really not a sensitive person, i am just giving jes a hard time. she has issues with "smooth delivery" as evidenced by her claim that my baby is dual-sexed and how she orders food at restaurants.)

oh. well then, i'm glad that i didn't say, "i think i see it!" because, for a moment there, when i squinted and turned my head to the side, i was sure that i DID see it.
It looks like a little "Snowman" in your belly. Also, it appears your baby has a big head from this angle... is this from you or your husband? ;)
(Kidding of course... nothing like a complete stranger saying your baby has a big head.... at least I am not a close friend that says your baby looks like a hermaphodite... lol. )
ben, i am sure there is no way you could have known this because i have never posted it before, but daniel IS part snowman. and daniel does have a very big head. he wears a special neck brace to help him hold it up. and, i am part ladybug, and half hermaphrodite. so everyone is correct!

Never good to tell a pregnant woman her baby's head looks big. Not encouraging news.
Though with daddy being half-snowman, which makes Baby 1/4 snowman...perhaps his head will take on some shrinkage while traveling towards the light.
daniel is part snowman? i never knew that! amanda, how could this have never come up in our conversations?!?
