Dillon's room
We are finally done with the baby room, and I am so proud!
My dad and Daniel stripped and stained the dresser to match the crib and changing table.
Daniel's mother made all of our bedding, recovered the chair, made a changing table cover and a diaper stacker. It looks amazing!
My mother helped me decorate with cars and trains, made curtains, and painted the wall plaid. My sister painted picture frames to match the fabric in the bedding. This was truly a family effort! All we need now is a baby!

it does make it seem real! but i also feel like i have been pregnant forever so it will be kind of weird to have the end result!
It really was a family effort, and it looks great! I love the color of the furniture. The refinishing job on the dresser is really impressive.
amanda - you have to wait, cause otherwise you will run out of things to entertain yourself during the last few weeks of tedium. :)
you can only wash the clothes so many times!
WOW, that is such a great-looking room! I think the colors are wonderful and that plaid wall is amazing. That was done with paint? You and your family should go into business doing that.
I see that bottle is getting really close to the 40 mark, and now you're ready!

I love Dillon's room!
How many times a day do you go in there now, Amanda? :)
Just think, that bed will be occupied in just a matter of weeks. YAY!

omigosh. i just looked at your prego ticker. you're getting so close!!!!!!!!!!! (that was TOTALLY worth all the exclamation points! and i yelled it in a really high-pitched girly voice, too, while simultaneously jumping and running in place. and yet, my hair looked perfect the whole time.)
Amanda Sue... That room is absolutly adorable! What fun that you got to work on it with your family! Can't wait for the blog saying your at the hospital! This is such on exciting time....
LOVE IT!
It looks great!!!! And it's even more special that it was all done by family. I want to learn how to sew!!!
