Branded
My forearms are covered in tiny pink circles. They don't hurt, but it looks like I got after myself with a warm cigarette.
Note to self (and to you!): tiny baby clothes fresh out of the dryer have about a million tiny little HOT snaps that sear and brand Mama's arms. Better let Daddy do the laundry next time!

I learned that the hard way, too!
Either let Daddy do it, put them in a laundry basket, or let them cool off in the dryer before you get them out. No one cares if baby clothes are a little wrinkled! :)
These are the kinds of things that they need to put in the book that they send home with the baby for first-time moms. Oh wait, I didn't get that book either!
Ouch! Like the other amanda said, thanks. I tend to let them sit for 30 minutes anyway, but now I know to watch for that if I ever get motivated too early!
I never really thought about it regarding baby clothes, but I have, in a total hurry to be somewhere I have put on jeans right out of the dryer and burned myself on the button.
Logan was super paranoid about not using fabric softener or dryer sheets for the babys clothes- which wasnt a problem, i usually forgot those anyway.
ooh! post a picture so we can all see your welts! :)
aw. they have already faded. but next time, if i am stupid enough to have a next time, i will definitely take a picture for all of posterity.
Oh, there'll be a next time. You can snap them all shut and still a crafty few will get ya.
I love to get Bella's clothes fresh out of the hot dryer too. It is worth the pain suffered for her clothes to be wrinkle-free.
